09 Jun Back in print.
Yep, like a lot of small businesses, Covid-19 has pretty much knocked us for 6 until the world gets over its pandemic related angst. That means we’ve had a lot of disruption to our schedule but this week we began printing again! A June edition of our Parish and Property Islander is now at print, due for distribution mid June. It feels great to have a deadline after 10 weeks without!
Sadly, everything else is still quite disrupted. With a few less tourists anticipated than our attraction, restaurant and hospitality clients would like for the remainder of 2020, our official tourist guide to Jersey, What’s On, will be on hold this year, pending the 2021 season. We are, however, going to be producing an official tourist lifestyle guide to Jersey in association with Visit Jersey to tide us over until then. We’ll be using the same popular size, format and general listings content from What’s On and building up more of a story based guide until there is actually something ‘on’!
Our Appetite foodie annual’s 2020 edition is in the wings but we’re mindful of our hospitality industry’s delicate situation so we’ll be waiting to produce it when everything has stabilised. We’ll be adding an online element too.
Gallery will be back in the summer with a big ‘new normal’ (urgh) Summer Edition. As there have been few events, not much nightlife and not a lot in the social, cultural (or any, in fact) calendars of late, we’re rolling with the availability of good news and opening up of distribution points.
